On October 12, 2011, 2 Arizona FFA State Officers, Keili Summey and Jed Ward, paid us a visit.
They spent their entire day with us giving presentations to our classes, playing games and doing fun activites with them. We also took the State Officers on a tour of our campus and our agricultural facilities. They even had lunch with Chapter Officers, Greenhand Officers and Administrators.
After school the State Officers also stayed for our Chapter Meeting!!
At the meeting we hosted a pumpkin carving contest where students carved pumpkins, which the State Officers were nice enough to help us hollow out earlier that day, to be judged by the State Officers. Students also completed at "Where's Perry Scavenger Hunt" in which they had to search the campus for signs of Perry the Platypus and bring back clues. After all of the activities Pizza was had by all!
We are so glad that Keili and Jed were able to join us!!!
