The Greenhand Introduction is a new event this year for us. We decided that we should have an event for Greenhands only because of our large first-year member population this year.
This even allowed our first year members to come in and get to know our chapter officers and their fellow Greenhand members in a smaller setting before the first chapter event rolled around and the regular members were there all at once.
We were able to get our Greenhand members a little more familiar with FFA through activities and discussion and, of course, food.
By the time the meeting was over, our Greenhands were excited to begin their first year in FFA, we even passed out a couple of Greenhand Officer applications!
