We competed in 3 different CDEs: Aquaculture, Wildlife and Job Interview.
Our Aquaculture Team did very well. Isaiah Govea received the award for having the highest test score for Aquaculture in the State!!! He also was awarded 7th place individually in the Aquaculture CDE. Our Aquaculture team also placed 3rd in the state! Great job guys!!!
Our Wildlife team also competed at state and while they did not win anything, they had a great time identifying animals, completing a GPS course and doing the many more team and individual practicums in the CDE.
Tanner Kemp competed in the Job Interview CDE. Tanner had to submit a resume, write a business letter, go through several rounds of interviews as well as complete a phone interview for this CDE. While Tanner also did not place he had a great time and learned some valuable things!
While waiting for CDE results, our members were able to participate in a campus scavenger hunt hosted by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Students got a self-guided tour of a portion of UA's campus and got to talk to various student organizations as well as got free t-shirts!
Spring Conference was a great time for all of the students involved!
