Several of our Chapter and Greenhand Officers had the chance to visit two different middle schools in the Paradise Valley Unified School District to discuss enrollment in agricultural education and FFA at Paradise Valley High School with them.
These trips to middle schools marks the second year of our chapter reaching out to middle school students to get them interested in agriculture and in the FFA. We were so successful last year that we decided that we would do it again. And again, the students received our presentation very well and we had a lot of students interested in enrolling in agricultural education classes for next year!
We visited both Sunrise and Greenway Middle School and we are hoping to visit a couple of more to get even more students interested and involved in agriculture through enrollment in agriscience classes and involvement in the FFA.
Thanks to Sunrise and Greenway for allowing us to come out and give our presentation and we hope to see all of you again next year!
