On November 9, 2011 Paradise Valley FFA Members traveled to Chino Valley, AZ to Yavapai Community College in order to compete in the District Fall CDEs.
We competed in the Vet Tech, Floriculture, Food Science, Creed Speaking and the Information Contest.
We did well in all of the contest areas but our members did especially well in two of the CDEs we competed in. Our Floriculture team won First Place Team in the Black Canyon FFA District and Danielle Major and Donald Coon took first and third place individuals respectively! Great Job Floriculture Team and Good Luck at State!
The other contest that Sarah Johnson did well in was the Information Contest. This contest involves the younger members (Freshman and Sophomores) studying and learning FFA knowledge and being able to answer questions in a spelling bee type format. Sarah took First Place in the District and is moving on to the State Level!
We are extremely proud of all of our members who competed and will be competing at State in December!
